The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I Corinthians 15:56-57
Men, consider the grace of God—how He blesses beyond what the mind can measure. May these truths encourage you today as they reflect the faithfulness of our Lord.
He calls His own before they are born.
He washes clean even the deepest, hidden sins.
His wisdom cries out from the rooftops.
Though plans are made, He orders every step toward a glorious end.
Even trials are turned into victory.
What seems like loss becomes eternal gain.
He calls and sets apart men for good works.
He provides when strength and supply are gone.
He remains a faithful friend when none can be found.
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. (John 15:15)
God, Your Holy Word guides and sustains daily.
When faithfulness fails, Your faithfulness stands firm.
When the lost are wandering, You seek them out.
You paid the price when no one else could or would.
The reward in Heaven is secured by Your perfect love.
While many reject You, You give hearts that long to seek You.
To the weary, You say, “Come and rest.”
Heavenly rewards await because You give the will to pursue You.
Your Word stands ready to guide and comfort each day.
When pride creeps in, You bless with humility.
What can be done for You, when all things already come from You?
You are strength in weakness.
You prepare a place in Heaven, even for those whose eyes and hearts wander on earth.
You are grace. You are mercy.
Who can fathom Your goodness?
When the eyes fix on the world, striving and worry take hold.
But when turned toward You, all achievement fades—and You alone are worthy.
You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. (Psalm 73:24-25)
You are the I AM. Everything begins and ends with You.
Place within hearts the desire to seek You.
Do not hide Your face—be good to Your children.
When there is failure and turning away, may You still keep them.
May every moment be spent in Your presence.
Look down with mercy and favor.
When there is emptiness, may You fill the cup.
May lives be like trees planted by streams of Your Word and goodness.
May there be constant abiding in You—so that honor is brought to Your name, even in old age.
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.” (Psalm 92:12-15)
God awaits His children. When we choose Him, He pours out rivers of living water!
When we fail, He never fails us!
When we were lost, He came to rescue and save us!
Men, why? Because He is a good, good Father and wants His children with Him!
